This project started with a stolen stripped chassis I bought from the original owner after it was left at a Porsche shop and stolen. The shop traded the owner another 911 to keep from reporting the incident. The car had a longnose front grafted on and 930 flairs installed to "update" the car.
The engine and transmission were in the car but not running.

The 2.4 liter engine and 915 Gearbox were entrusted to Peter Dawe and company for a little refresh as I had no history on the drivetrain. The freshening included Pauder Rods and new Nikasyl cylinders to hold the original S pistons the previous owner had installed.
Modifications to the air diverter plates as directed by Peter.
The original Mechanical Fuel injection system was replaced with Weber Carbs along with appropiate cams and valve train upgrades..
OEM brakes were rebuilt and reinstalled to get it on the road and make it safe to drive. Additional Brake and suspension upgrades are in the plan but not ready to dive into that until I see how straight and true the chassis is.
